Common Core and Keyboarding

With one fourth of the school year behind us, students are in the swing of things.  We are using technology in the classrooms for various projects.  Ipads and laptops are being used to enhance curriculum.  A few ebooks have also been rolled out in the library!  The FGC continues to be a fun place to be learning together!

Keyboarding Skills

Keyboarding skills are essential in the life of your digital native.  Aside from our keyboarding program at school, TTL4, it is also encouraged students take time to learn the keys and correct keyboarding. Technique is focus long before accuracy and speed.  This is how future learning, communications, and assessments will be done.  Here is an interesting article on teaching "keyboarding."  Enjoy!
